The Postcard Project - January
Greetings to all of you
crazy people in the first month of 2004! Mom would be so proud of you.
Speaking of Mom, it's the 5th of January. Have you sent this month's
item? Don't know what it is? Look at
http://postcardsformom.com/item.htm for the information.
Lighthouse Technologies provides
quality unbranded hosting for as little as $1.29 a month. If you're
looking for a great website host, look no further! With their Personal
Touch customer care and their outstanding servers, you can't go wrong.
Mom just got back from Houston. It seems that her mom (my Grandma, now
80) fell and broke her hip. She's in the hospital and stable. We'll see
how that works out. So, with Mom just getting home, she hasn't had time to
start discovering the new goods that should have started arriving in the
mail. I talked with her this morning but there was no mention...
I've added a new column to the site,
Correspondence. So far, nothing really funny, but I've got some boring
filler in there until some nut sends me a good one.
I'm going to mom's house later this week, and hopefully I can swipe
some of the goods for scanning. It's going to be hard, because I'm
sure she's keeping all of this stuff in some container for future
reference. Mom doesn't throw much away.
Lastly, if you haven't shared our new website with a friend, please do
so. Post a link on your blog. Mom reads my blog, so I can't mention it
myself. I also can't mention the time I drove Mom and Dad's truck through
a muddy cornfield in a drunken stupor, but that's ok. It's a story that
doesn't need to be told.
Lastly, thanks to all of you who are making this so much fun. Pretty
soon I'll have T-shirts, coffee mugs, and all kinds of stuff for sale.
I'll be a millionaire, and mom will have a huge trash bill. Yippee.
Lastly, this will be the last time I say lastly. Have a great month,
down a few beers, send mom her item, and I'll talk to you next month.
