The Postcards for Mom Pranksters

My dad was diagnosed with Diabetes last month. It's been a big change for mom and dad, since they never really paid that much attention to food before. Dad's able to keep it under control just with oral meds, no insulin, thankfully. But it was a big blow since dad's always been the healthy one.
I wanted to thank Julie for sending mom a birthday card with some purple fabric. Mom showed me yesterday.
Mom's done piecing together the top part of her quilt. SHe still needs to find a place big enough to tack together the batting and the backing of the quilt(it's tough when you're dealing with a king size quilt!).
