Let's Play House
My cousin is getting married this coming week-end. So, one of my brothers, my sister-in-law, and my parents are joining us up north for the wedding. It is going to be a nice week-end because no one is bring the "children" along. It hasn't been only adults in years. I can't wait! Meanwhile, Dad and Mom are working on getting bids on the house. They are replacing both furnances, two air conditioners, and getting a new roof. They live in this big old house and we thought they'd have sold it long ago but it doesn't appear they have any interest in doing that for some time. In actuality, it is nice to have the big house. It allows for the family to gather in one spot regularly. But what this means for you, the reader, not much discussion going on about the mail. Quotes on roofing, I know all about that one. I'm cornering Linda this week-end and we are going to be taking digital pictures. I've convinced Dad that he should bring the postcards to the wedding so Linda can see what "her friends" have been up to these days! -d |
